Is there a way to tweak the learning rate so it takes a few more chances with later loops rather than just endlessly refining basically the same image?

Try a different one then, there's like 12 different versions on Patreon with different qualities. One is marked as very experimental and is noted in the post as getting a lot of errors.

Wake Up!
LatestVisions
LatestVisions2

are all pretty fantastic. Wake Up is the fast one.

edit: I Might need to switch books I got assigned a Tesla T4 today and that thing does not like Visions 2 the results are nice but 15 minutes between frames is a bit much, might play around with Wake Up.

Had something not going anywhere and switched to this on Visions2, first set of frames came out

Pacman fighting a kangaroo in the style of Jack Kirby

probably wont animate it but probably will let this run for a few hours and see if any of the later frames are interesting, taking about 15minutes per right now. (didn't expect to actually get anything worth posting from this at this speed, normally abort a dozen before getting a good one)

That's really cool! I wonder if it would include a signature if a lot of the pictures it found as reference included one. I've seen weird writing in some of them and I would guess a signature would just be another visual element to the AI.

I think you're right, it's just hard to tell exactly due to the nature of it. Like it's probably never going to look like a recognizable Disney or Ford signature, but maybe that's good and the weird dream signature is the AI's signature.

That makes me think there's some budding speculative investor salivating at the idea of turning AI art into NFTs...

Liking the fast one these took about 4 minutes each to generate all frames about as fast a the first frame (normally garbage but hinting at the image) on the better ones. Spent a lot of time generating a dozen or so frames seeing where some abstract stuff was going and tried a few combos of people and food. This one is way faster, certainly less quality than the newest ones but if you have a slow GPU assigned since you seem to keep the same setup all day you should try this book. (Search for Tesla after you connect and it is still downloading everything to the cloud box you are using, which is done when you press run all one of the first commands it runs is to check the GPU, the T4 is the slow one).

As a note the newest books have a comment on a line about having to run it again after running a section if you press run all it should auto stop but if it doesn't you need to press restart and run all or it will give garbage data since it will be running the wrong version of a critical package. The auto-stop is why you have to press run a second time like 8 minutes after pressing run the first time you do it for the day. (the 8 minutes is the install time). If something seems really messed up do a factory reset under runtime, this will wipe everything and the notebook will download everything again next run. This shouldn't be needed interrupting changing the prompt and pressing "restart and run all" works 99% of the time, unless it crashed then sometimes you will need to factory reset.

I found if an image is close you can throw some words at the end to guide it into a direction, it seems the further right a word is the less important it is to the output. Not sure I can use this much with the slower notebooks with Wake Up! I can go read a few posts and it's done with 30 frames instead of just puking out the second the one.

this is fine themed load bearing drywall in the Den of Evil

Potato pepper candy eye demon lobster spray spider onion venom loaf (I wanted to see what it would do with a collection of loosely related words with some outliers)

As I said these generate fast, not seen, about 5 times as many rejects, the better notebooks I generally have more success than failure but this speed is nice.

Make some art that free book is perfectly fine it has a nice balance.

Latent3Visions just came out on the creators patreon last night and lets you use multiple prompts, image seeds, and lets you weight all the elements as much or as little as you want. This poo poo is getting crazy now. I keep running out of memory though and I'm not sure how to address that.
