Oh, that poo poo you can just get by asking at the bakery in the grocery store. I feel like I've been to one in abq tho, can't remember exactly where it was. Maybe it was Austin.

It's entirely possible to live anywhere without seeing one because there's only a couple to a few even in large cities.

It was actually pretty good quality bread that sells for $4 or $5 in the grocery store but they sold their overproduction/imperfect loaves for like $2 in their own store.

Like there's an "Aunt Millies" one kinda just in the middle of nothing on the other side of my county for example.

You may see them as Thrift Stores. When my grandmother did payroll for Hostess, they had a thrift store that was open to the public. I recall seeing a Wonder Bread thrift store as well. (This was in the 70s/80s) This was in the Calumet City, IL/Hammond, IN area near Chicago.

There's a Nature's Own outlet near me, it had all those "life" branded breads that are like $5 in publix for a dollar and it's always 20% off on Wednesdays. There's also a bunch of off brand snack foods in bulk packaging in there for cheap.

Back in my part of Texas, there was a Mrs Bairds discounted bread and pastry outlet a little ways away from the factory. Good cheap bread even cheaper because it was shaped wrong or whatever

Look at all these idiots that don't know what a discount bread stores is. We used to go to the Freihofer Bakery Outlet when I lived in the middle of nowhere NH, they had all kinds of bread products for like 1/2 or 1/3 price. They also had entenmenn's stuff so we could get pastries. Also people who have never seen one of these places will apparently never believe anyone talking about them, they just like they don't believe in the totatlly-real Friends video game that I actually own.
