Tishrin Dam is in much better condition/not quite as dangerous to a major city AFAIK and in control of the Kurdish SDF army. EDIT: And as far as authoritarian dictators and terrorists go, its a highly symbiotic relationship that help foster and stablize each side. The Egyptian govt are currently allowing and encouraging the recruitment of jihadis in their jails overflowing by the thousands due to their widespread crackdowns.

Grand Theft Autobot posted:Does anybody outside the GOP base give half a gently caress about her email thing? Speaking as someone who isn't a Clinton "supporter" but will be voting for her: It bothers me to the extent that she really should have known better. Even though I can see why she did it (simplicity probably, maybe an attempt to keep private things private) it doesn't excuse her actions. She's been in public service for a long time, she knows drat well that what the rules are and has to play by them and the e-mails thing is an example of an attitude of entitlement to the the privilege of working in government. BUT, she didn't put any lives at risk, the information was low-level, and she still knew enough to keep other things off that private server. And she's still better than a literal fascist.
