People bringing in litters of kittens and puppies kept me sane and almost balanced out the overwhelmingly terrible aspects of that job  It's hilarious every time we bring Rexie in for her checkups, everyone in the back rushes over to "help with her case". She gets passed around like in that video, I'm pretty sure. They also just use her for free ultrasound practice since she always needs her intestines checked and, being naked and super chill, is the easiest practice they can get for their new machine.

 Found this 1982 polaroid of mom's first cat, Buffy. I was born in 86 and Buffy watched over me like I was his own when I was an infant. We had him from 1980 til 97. Also he looks so handsome in this pic.
