I'm looking for an old looping flash file, I think it used to be hosted on zandwich.org (which is no longer live). It's Cyclops form the X-Men and he's just yelling "BEHOLD! OPTIC BLAST!" over and over again. Anyone have a copy?

I'm going for gasps.
I'm looking for a surreal flash animation I remember from a while back, more than anything just to prove to myself that I've not imagined it.

It was a cartoon of some guy singing a song in a made up language (although there's a good chance it was a real language that I was unaware of) about how he died in a car accident due to drink driving, and his ascent to heaven and then he gets given another chance and comes back to life. The words to the song in English were subtitled and had one of those bouncing sing-a-long balls going over them. The only exact phrase I remember is "I died, I died". At one point God turns up and says in English "Hear me now".

I guess it was around 2002 when I first came across it, and I'm near certain it was on a site called ArtBeal or something to that effect, although countless searches on google and archives have brought up no reference to a flash site with any name similar to that so it would be a bonus if someone could confirm that this site existed (or one with a similar sounding name) at some point.

If it's a surreal flash animation, I'd suggest starting on fat-pie.com, which created Salad Fingers

I suddenly got the urge to play a weird browser game from my youth that I can't quite remember the name of. It's an action-adventure game with an isometric perspective, where you play as a green guy with a flower for a nose that fights by throwing flowers. There may have been an alternate version of the game with a different main character that is otherwise identical. The part of the game that sticks out the most in my mind is being able to jump in a hole to go to hell and fight satan.

I hope this is a real thing and that I'm not just totally insane.

Fat-pie.com is just David Firth's personal website, it's not a repository of weird flash animations from around the web or anything.

Tell me I'm not going insane.

I remember seeing (probably on SomethingAwful) an article with a bunch of animal facts. One of them was something along the lines of:

"you know when you're listening to a song by the Decemberists and you get that shudder up your spine because it's just so perfect?

Snails feel that way all the time."

It might even have been a forum post; whatever it was, I can't find it anywhere.

It's not part of the Goon Bestiary comedy goldmine either.

Someone sent me a flash game online once.

I believe it was designed by an art student.

It was incredibly artistic. It was the day in the life of a guy who lived the 9-5 grind at some huge mega corporation.

There were multiple "directions" to go in the game but if you went the wrong way you ended up at the beginning of the game.

The only way to "win" it was to get to the roof and jump off the edge. It was depressing but really amazing.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I was just wondering if anyone can remember the name of a flash game someone made. I've tried searching with a variation of short descriptions but to no avail and i've tried with some names i thought it might come under.

The game itself is pretty much just a joke, basically there's a big build up then you control the character. It's literally a case of moving the character 6 or 7 squares to the goal which is done in a few seconds then the game ends with literally at least 5 minutes worth of credits for such a ridiculously short game.

Thankyou in advance!

I have one that I'm almost embarrassed to have to ask about.

I've been looking for a dumb flash animation set to a (I think) Japanese song. The title of this specific video was "Love"

I remember it was originally hosted on a site called punkmac.com, which apparently is long gone. The site had a handful of flash junk and a forum. Ive seen a lot of the stuff on other sites, but this one video just wont turn up.

I only remember parts of it. From what I recall it was about a guy chasing after a girl with red hair, being turned down, but eventually he gets her to like him. Then I think she gets to clingy or something and he tries to chase her away. Terrible description, I know. But for whatever reason I cant shake the memory of it.

I skimmed this thread to see if there was any mention of it, but couldn't find any. Apologies if its come up before.

I really just need to know if this ever existed at all.

I lost a link to a video that's proving hard to find again. I saw it on youtube, but I can't remember what I was linked to it from. It's Louis Farrakhan being yelled at by some old people for a few sentences, after which he says "gently caress all 'yall" and has his lower half turn into a rocket that sends him hurtling through the atmosphere. As he breaks orbit, everything goes silent before his final proclamation of "Dr.Dre." Then he flies into the moon and explodes.

I have no idea how to find this again. If anyone does, I would be greatly appreciative.

If I fall, you don't get the head, right? If you lose the head, you're fucked!

I've been looking for this video for quite some time now. I first saw it on youtube, so I suppose it's not that old, but it's still a pain in the rear end to find because all the search terms end up giving endless amounts of non related stuff.

It was a video about some type of one-of-a-kind super spy car or something. It was a newer Lamborghini/Bugatti/supercar sort of car. The owner was describing the car and it's functions to an interviewer with a mic, but wanted to remain anonymous. The car itself had all kinds of switches, monitors and some sort of exterior "EMP burst" type thing, night vision, some kind of stealth mode among other functions.

I think the car was featured on some Top Gear webcast type of show.

Edit:

Remembered a few more things about the car. There were kill switches for all the lights, the "emp bomb liquid cooled infra sonic pulse generator :psyboom:" thing was kind of in a suitcase and connected to the exterior of the car somewhere under the hood, it looked like the video was shot in Europe somewhere. I think it was about 5-10 min long.

Edit 2:

Holyshit I just found it! Here is the video for those that are interested.

I thought he was talking about a game I played last year that I can't for the life of me remember - you played a robot that had to save the earth or the sun from an asteroid, I forget which. But it goes through something like 10 minutes of tutorial and introduction before you can start, and by the time you start the game ends.

I would have sworn up and down that was the game he meant before they answered his question and he said it wasn't.

Anyone know the name of the game I'm thinking of?

Back in the mid early to mid 1990s a couple of heavy-metal mashups were pretty popular in Europe.

One of the songs, Metal Mania, started off with "Smoke on the water", followed by Bon Jovi, Kiss, Def Leppard etc.

I vaguely recall the band/DJs being referred to The Heavies.

Anyone have any information or know what I'm talking about?

Maybe someone else knows about this internet necromancy. A while back there was this diablo 2 parody or video of this korean player saying "Nice itam pls!" asking another player who speaks english for- well a nice item.

The english speaking player gets irate and attacks the korean player. The korean player, playing a barbarian does a whirlwind attack and kills the player, then loots his nice items followed by a gigantic "^______________^"

I'm looking for a video I found on youtube. It's an animated music video to a french song with a girl singing that sounds something like (excuse the spelling which I know is all wrong, I don't speak french) "Je me la pom plus... je me la (i forget the rest)". The video was of a drawing of a tooth doing weird stuff, with rainbows in the background, and the tooth is at one point crucified. There is also a penis that ejaculates hearts onto a rainbow. The video was called "teeth test" I believe.

Thanks!

EDIT: I once found the song and its album cover was a black and white picture of a young woman's face. If I could get either the song or the original video, I'd be very happy.
