I've played Last of Us but have never played an anime titty game. Maybe I chose poorly. e: Last of Us was ok I thought. Definitely worth the playt hrough, but not amazing or anything. Never understood the over the top praise it got.

If you're not increasing the polygon count or going the extra mile somehow to make a game more modern-looking then don't loving bother with an HD Remaster. Panzer Dragoon Orta's re-release looks like poo poo. Games that are supposed to be cartoony or lo-fi or something like JSRF are more or less exempt

My unpopular opinion is that the drama surrounding beyond two Souls was dumb as hell. It wasn’t actually something that was in the game or intended be seen by anyone. David Cage is definitely a perv but I wouldn’t be surprised if every character just had that as a base model. It’s not like it was actually Ellen Page or anything. The way it was framed online like it was a naked Ellen Page Easter egg or something was really disingenuous.

Real unpopular opinion for the gaming crowd-- I wonder if the actresses who license their likeness for 3D Models in video games realize that perverts are going to make the vilest porn possible using said Models. Like yeah " all pretty girls know guys are going to masturbate to them  " but the Rule34 poo poo out there using 3D Models crosses some new boundaries. Their faces and bodies are often depicted being raped by animals, and I very much doubt they signed up for that. Don't look at me like you don't know what I'm talking about.

My possibly unpopular opinion about Life Is Strange: Letting Chloe die was the right decision. The universe obliviously wants her to die considering how many times she dies during the game and saving her rear end all the time causes reality to break itself. But if you let Kate die you are probably a self absorbent monster considering it take so little to walk her down from the roof. I honestly didn't think it was possible for to commit suicide until the end of the episode where it shows all the choices you could make. It's the same realm as deepfakes being used to create a reasonably realistic version of a celebrity banging. last of us is just a goodass action stealth shooter, people who get mad about it seem to assume that everyone loves its mindblowing story but even fans of last of us just like the solid action and strong atmosphere with some tense moments that is well told. People put their hands on their hips and say "well gawrsh its no citizen kane" like yeah, its a fuckin zombie story, of course it isn't.
