I've recently been watching a YouTube series called "Sidey vs the Galaxy" by Archon Fury where he's trying to take down one of every ship in pvp in a Sidewinder. It's kinda glorious to see that small ships can, when flown well, armed and engineered correctly, and choosing when to fight and when to run, can dominate much larger opponents. Looks hella fun too.

I watched the first few videos he has and the most entertaining one has been when he was fighting another Sidewinder. Lots of other ones were basically just ganks, like that Keelback that inexplicably did nothing when being attacked even though just a handful of turret mounts would have torn his unshielded Sidewinder to shreds. I guess that it's possible the Keelback was unarmed (although I dunno why you wouldn't just buy a type 6 in that case) but that would still just be a gank.

Does system state affect the missions you get? I feel like Quince really sucks right now, takes me more than 15 minutes to find a usable board and even then it's usually just 10 scan missions tops but it's in lockdown so maybe that's why? I can usually get up to 20 missions (22 if I get 2 in a bad board) but that hasn't happened in like 2 days. At this point I think doing passenger might be better.

Nothing an engineer wants requires anything that takes up cargo space except for some initial unlocks, and eventually you're going to have to go to an anarchy RES zone to kill cargo haulers for Chem Manipulators. You'll be hoovering stuff up with limpets, and eventually one of them will pick up something dumb like a single unit of bio waste and then every pirate in the zone will scan you and attack you in order to get that sweet 35 credit booty. to be fair, I think most of us were in the homefront since the weekend. there's at least one brown sea avenger there who's got an organization devoted to clubbing seals because quince making the grind easy delegitimizes the work he did to get his cash/rank, or something
