Spoilers for new Star Wars movie: D-0 was such a little abused puppy.  Even when terrified, he ran away saying "no thank you". Still so polite. I wanted to hug him.And now to pay the Pit Pat tax. He was up in the attic with me and it was cold and the heater wasn't doing it, but he found some clean laundry in a sunbeam

My present to the thread is the happy outcome in the case of my friend's missing dog -- found safe and in good spirits after running away while outside with his people, making it into a nearby forest, and spending two nights on his own in the wild. Bonus present: the runaway was found by a tracker and her dog named Nugget who my friend hired to help. So there's a safe badgoodboy and a hero named Nugget, both having a very good Christmas.

This morning, Lando wished my wife and I a merry start to Christmas by jumping up on the bed and sprawling out in between us- horizontally. He kicked her all the way to the end of the bed so he could lie with his head in my chest. He‘s since adjusted into being a little fuzzy donut dog in between the two of us.  Gonna wake him up in a few moments and take him for a nice long walk with the sunrise. Happy holidays from Lando and I to all the good boys and girls ITT and also their humans!

Stayed over at mom and dad's on Christmas eve, and the next morning it was time for presents. Luna got a new designer handbag from me. Then we played catch (the tattered lump at the right center of the vid is the handbag about 15 minutes after the above picture was taken) https://i.imgur.com/aI6s8wi.mp4 I was tuckered out from the previous night's egg nog so I took a nap in the guest room with my cuddle buddy.

How are dogs with spicy stuff? Thinking i may leave some spicy food in the open when i leave Kedah in the apartment and after a few times of her hating it maybe she'll stop scavenging food that's laying around or trash she finds on or walks?

As far as I know scavenging is survival instinct and it can't be gotten rid of totally. You can mitigate it by making sure she is fed good food she enjoys eating and bring higher value treats on walks, that are better than stuff on the floor. But yeah, five years later I still regularly have to prise KFC bones out of Peppers mouth

If it's in the home,lots of leave it training working up to going out of the room for a second, then a few seconds, etc etc. I also found banging the plate with a fork, if she went for it, did help as pepper didn't like the noise but that was last resort.
