I have not even gotten through one sixth of the total fanart posted to a single website, let alone all of the others. There is easily over a million pieces of undertale fanart on this one alone. And Undertale just got localized into Japanese and Russian(iirc) and released on PS4, so expect even more from new players. A common thing I've seen is people logging their experience through Undertale via fanart, which results in lengthy and often neat, amusing interpretations of events. Still doesn't even scratch the amount of Touhou fanart out there. Probably ten times as much Touhou as anything else, minimum. poo poo's a goddamn phenomenon, and would be a global one if ZUN wasn't so rigid with his franchise.    I just love that almost the only thing in english here is his "nyeh heh heh".

So I've been following the Riho Futaba Let's Play by SelenicMartian and got to wondering what sort of results this lady brings up on Google. Naturally, I bumped into her fan art. For the record, this is her most popular game:  So with that in mind...     Someone made a flash animation for her by the way. That person also hosted the entire Riho (and D3 catalog) doujin on her Deviant Art, now transferred to imgur for ease of access:   Click here for the rest. That in turn caused me to find out about an RPG Maker game from Japan called Syukusho Gakuen, aka Shrink School. It's exactly what you think it is, but more importantly, here's an hour and half long fan animation for it.

This is also a matter of space and time. Undertale is one game that came out in 2015. Touhou has been around since 1996 and has 16 'official' games with about as many spin-offs. Also, you can argue that it is a global one due to the fan community cranking out translations of everything from games to manga to the fan-made OVAs. Like or hate it, you can't deny that ZUN is some sort of drunk, insane creation factory.
