oh... I am shattered for you GSC. I truly am Taco was an amazing little bird, and I know she was happy with you and loved being part of your family. Thanks for the kind words and thoughts guys, it means a lot and I know that at least a few of you know exactly what its like to suddenly lose a bird. I am still sad about bird but I'll be ok.

The picture of taco getting his own bird sized taco was one of the things that got me reading this thread. He was a good bird with good owners.  Edit: Upon reading back, it was a completely different bird that got a tiny burrito. Taco still seemed like an awesome bird so my conclusion stands. I'm having a bit of a bummer day. My walker arrived, and the reality it carried with it is a little heavy. But my cockatiel thinks the walker is a new person. She keeps eying it from across the room, spreading her wings, and making her, "COME AT ME!" noises. She also will run up to he cage for a scritch, see the walker, and flee mid scritch yelling birb profanities. I adore these neurotic potatoes.

It's a bizarre combination of people going out of their way to be helpful while others refuse to acknowledge I'm there. I don't want to out anyone, but I think there are two mobility assisted goons in the Bird Crazies. It's a comfy place to post.  More pictures will happen when I can manage phone/bird/walker.
