Charnel Houses of Europe wasn't really an edgelord thing, more of an "our game is set in the land of the dead with ancient ghosts and, oh yeah, uh, poo poo we can't really dance around that forever." They at least had the sense to pull in outside help instead of relying totally on dick spikes. But yeah on the whole the Black Dog imprint was a mistake. IIRC, Charnel Houses is genuinely haunting, if you'll pardon the pun, and rather good even by normal literary standards. It's like Little Fears in that while it's ostensibly a game, it's entirely excusable if you don't play it, and you might appreciate its efforts to raise awareness of an issue through the medium of play.iospace posted:Where is this from?
