 We got rid of an old couch but kept some of the cushions so we could make a dedicated dog area in one corner of our living room that’s a little bit more than just a dog mat on the ground. We call it the Lounge and Lando loves getting cozy in it. That is, when he’s not sleeping on the new couch a few feet out of frame.

 Nimbus learned to dig at the park!  He is shockingly easily to clean, especially once everything dries up — just falls right off his coat. And thanks again for telling me I can upload directly to Imgur from the Awful.app.

a little over two weeks after getting gus, and we have achieved Both On The Couch Relatively Calmly status  had a somewhat vicious altercation a few days after they initially met where he nicked her above the eye and she bled a little. she tries to play with him but he doesn't understand what playing is, I can only assume from living on the streets his whole life. In the last few days you can gently pad him back and forth on each side of his mouth and he'll start to get playful, which is good, I'm hoping once we get the backyard re-landscaped and a new fence put up, they can have a big area to properly run and play in and get more used to each other. that'll probably have to wait until at least spring though. noa can't stop being a bully, which she did when she was at her foster place too, it sucks. but the bullying has calmed down a bit at least. we're having them be in the same area for about an hour at a time and separating them the rest of the time, and gradually getting them used to being together more frequently. getting them to both sleep on the bed might be the next big hurdle, noa's fine with it and gus has hopped up there, but who knows what will happen in the middle of the night if one of them has a bad dream or something. also, noa keeps licking his crotch, which he seems "fine" with(I.E. doesn't snap at her), but then she tries to lick us right after and we're like NOOOOO
