With turning around, we first made a circle motion with our finger while saying "turn around", then had her follow a treat in our hand in a little circle while saying "turn around", and then rewarding her with the treat and scritches when she did it. She eventually figured out the gesture + saying "turn around" meant she was supposed to turn around. For high fives, similar deal. We told her "high five", and then moved her arm in a high five motion to high five us, and then rewarded her. Her tippytoe high fives were a result of her wanting to high five and us seeing just how high she would go, and it turns out, she really loves just giving stretchy high fives.

I got some double sided tape to stick the two together to make a bigger one but surprise cat decided she didn't like it anymore. now she just sleeps on the floor next to it or back in one of her old sleeping places on the headrest on the sofa that she stopped sleeping in a few months ago. I suppose in 3 months she'll have decided she wants to use it after all

Pocket has a vet appointment tomorrow and they absolutely bombed his rear end with gabapentin this time around, dude is drat near nonfunctional lmao. We've never been able to transport him and he went kinetic the last time the vet made a house call (in tyool 2022!) so i imagine she's just taking the nuclear option to be sure we can get him examined and taken care of. My wife is like "he's not gonna stop breathing is he" lol  L O O P Y
