Another VN I was interested in was Higurashi: When They Cry, I think. The one with the vampire lady(?) and the red haired guy named Battler I maybe. What's the verdict on that one? One of my friends years ago got super into it, but for whatever reason I couldn't be arsed to install all the episodes and patch them all.

I like the idea of VN's but am entirely put off by how long they supposedly take to read all the way through. I find it hard enough to commit to playing through the long-rear end SMT games, much less a book of that length.

the ps3 sprites are way better than ryu07's godawful art, it's just that his art is charming because of how ugly it is. although i admit they hosed up some of the best expressions, like the ahaha.wav face.
