I wasn't sold on the few right after Miura died but I feel the team has gotten into a good groove now. It's not quite the same, but its also moving at a faster clip so we could get an ending within our lifetimes.

It's better than I expected. I think what's most lacking is the panel composition, something about the arrangement and framing seems off compared to what Miura could do.

It's also less "Fanwork" and more "made by the guy who was his platonic life-partner who had been together with him for 40 years and who Miura was going to travel the world and live with and who Miura said was 'one' with him" so I think it's a little bit more legitimate than like, just fans who had the story scaffold.

It's been three years, but I still get a little misty-eyed when I think about this part. Of course I wish we hadn't lost Miura so early, but this is such a tonally perfect way to conclude the story. ...welp, time to go watch the rain and listen to Berserk - Theme of Guts (Cut & Looped for One Hour).
