Kitten Academy is worth checking on youtube, and they're one of my bookmarks. They're a cat animal shelter specializing in taking in pregnant cats and taking care of the mom and kittens until they're old enough to adopt, and they run cameras livestreaming 24/7 of the kitten rooms. The two kittens in that tweet are two of a crop of three that just opened their eyes last week.

It's wild that not only does Tom Hanks use a typewriter in TYOOL 2020, but that I also read this in his version of the Fred Rogers voice. (Or he just wanted to pawn the typewriter off on someone so he sent it to the kid, who knows)

Some surprise wildlife paid my backyard a visit tonight. I live deep in the northern Virginia suburbs far from the bay, but a crane came by and said hello. Picture doesn’t do it justice but it was huge.

I have no pictures, but I remember walking downtown in Baltimore one day, and seeing deer, a raccoon, a heron, and a turtle. All inside a city of 600 thousand people. I thought it was pretty neat.

The cop was completely freaking out as the deer totally demolished the front end of his vehicle.

While walking in the park yesterday and coming up from these stairs leading to the waterfront, this guy came towards me and ducked right under the boardwalk. I wanted a picture so I turned around to see if I could still see it. After a few seconds of eye contact, it started coming right up to me! He got within four feet before I moved and he went back.
