He really liked the car, just had zero use for it as he now lives within bike distance of the studio and obviously owns more cars than he can shake a stick at. He installed a brand new head unit (it had a Carplay model in it for review), brake rotors/pads and spark plugs as part of the deal. I also looked at the WRX (not the one I posted about previously) that Moog dailies but he beat me to it

I guess he lost to Moog's WRX then Any Evo is a beast and compared to a 180 yeah it is going to feel like it is glued to the road. Edit: Do an automotive archaeology video on it and see if you can find any human slime. BigPaddy fucked around with this message at 14:19 on May 30, 2017 |

That's pretty awesome. Marty seemed to love that Evo, and it looked pretty nice in their videos.

I don't know the outcome of the next episode but I know why he sold it and it's a pretty good reason. Not sure if I can actually say but one of the reasons is he is 900m up the road from his studio and just rides his bike. There is another reason but I won't say more in case it ruins the future episodes. (I personally don't like the show that much but would be lying if I didn't learn a lot from their earlier episodes.) He definitely plays it up for the videos, he loves the car but "I'm driving this car and it's good" doesn't really make compelling YouTube. Edit: I took it to work in the mountains today and up the same road as the last video I posted. My god the grip Laserface fucked around with this message at 00:54 on May 31, 2017 |

that AWD life will make you lead-footed but it'll be fun I can more easily see why you went with the evo now knowing it was involved with MCM. did you trade in the 180 to them for it? because lol if that thing ends up on the show with a weird engine swap or something like that Mad Max episode.

My god the grip This is why I liked my old GTR, it had grip but was also predictable when it would let go so you could slide it a little. A friend had an Evo 8 FQ 400 and as long as you gave it some bollocks to keep the turbo spooled it was fine but otherwise a bit laggy.

Then again it's all factory so it doesn't have a stinking big turbo on it. Yet I might hit up a skid pan day to test the limits. Could easily convince a mate to take the 180 for me to try both. I'm doing a drifting tutorial day in a few weeks so that will be fun - in a supplied r32.

Hell yeah! have you done much sliding around in your 180? half the joy of doing it with an rb is the sounds it makes

only when it rains part of the want for the drift school stuff was to learn how to not die in the event of loss of traction, part was because i want to drift my drift car. I serviced the 180 today with new oil and filter. re-fitted the oil pressure and temperature sensors/sandwich plate and gave it some 15w-50 because its old. amazing how much oil you get out of a car after it has sat for a week. took for a drive and boy oh boy does it feel like a dangerous car. I am so surprised I did not die in the last 8 years of owning that thing. I have done so much stupid poo poo in it and I felt unsafe doing 80km/h on a 80km/h road. the evo handles better and is definitely faster. so the 180 can go without any regrets now.

Having recently gotten on the Evo love train myself I can't say I blame you. A shame I can't get one until next year.

Did my first oil change since buying it. So nice having an oil filter next to the sump and a jack point at the front of the car that is easily reachable. Still made a mess but I had no idea where the oil was gonna go. Also gave it a wash. 180 is still sitting around. It's been serviced and had a really good hard drive a few weeks ago. Fireballs were shot, good times had. It'll be listed for sale this week. This blue was my least favourite thing about it when I bought it, but it's now one of my favourite things. I'm too lazy and it's too dark to go somewhere better when it's clean and I'm pretty sure there is nowhere good around here anyway.

Drove the 180 for the first time in 3 months. The battery was flat so gave it a trickle charge over night and she's good to start in 5 revolutions just like always. Drive it 2 hours to my parents house like an rear end in a top hat (this car just rewards you for being a dick) and not a single misfire, stumble, hesitation and no timing retardation under boost. Getting it detailed and ready for sale. Have a few buyers interested sight unseen.

My '91 got pretty much submerged in the Harvey flood. I guess that answers the question of fix it or not (it's been sitting a while). Sucks, but I'll probably let it go super cheap, somebody has enough love to give it.

So I have 4 people coming to see the car tomorrow while I'm at work. And another 4 want to come by on the weekend if it's still available. I don't think I'll have much trouble getting what I'm asking. The ads only been up for 3 hours

It's rough, but was easily restorable aside from finding parts. Now, it'll be stripped for parts or made into a drag/dorifto machine, and I couldn't bear witness to that.

just waiting on a cheque but the car sold last night after a little bit of a bidding war amongst two interested parties They both ended up hitting the same limit, so it came down to who convinced me they had the best plans for it. the new owner cant drive manual so he asked me if he could pay an extra $100 for me to show him for an hour. Hes going to respray it and change the wheels for something nicer and then leave it as it is. The other guy was going to do the same, lower it (why, its already at perfect height) strip the interior, widebody, cage it, and do an LS1 conversion. he lost. dropping it off tonight after taking it for a drive with the windows down and the stereo up it feels both good and bad.
