The problem with this is not being able to effectively keep the rest of the shitlers out of there because the stations aren't conquerable. With enough bodies, money and hate, we could probably occupy a few holes once it becomes feasible to run a hole using citadels. Only problem is that you still need people who are prepared to scan, roll holes and deal with logistics in a mass limited environment, and Joe Goon just isn't that dude. What I'm hearing though is that you might surrender to Hole squad ' s siren song when this is all done.

The thread has moved on a bit, but Endie is a Cool Guy and Good Poster, and I like him, but I have a hard time reading what he writes because he is part of The Enemy. It is a silly kneejerk emotional response that makes no sense, but I can't help it. I would still buy him a drink and thank him for being part of what made the Imperium fun though.

I don't remember where we ended up, because I've never been good with SOV Maps. But I remember an all-night convoy when we finally left Syndicate For Good* that ended up with all of goonfleet in a station, getting out of our ships we'd come down in, and piling into rookie ships. That night ended with all of us jumping through a gate into an enemy fleet (Back when you jumped through a gate, never loaded grid, and died) as cannon fodder while russian Sniper BS landed at range on the enemy fleet on the gate and took advantage of the confusion to shoot them to poo poo. That was back in the day when the Bee role gave you access to everything, and so somebody took an entire stack of ships instead of 1, and Mittani was screaming at them to put the loving ships back or else. I had a map at one time with "Secret Red Base" or something like that on it when we lived with the russians after that. But it's been so long ago I don't remember exactly where we were either.
