I posted on the albinoblacksheep.com forums a lot. They started dying, and some people moved over here. There was a thread by a guy names Twiin about growing up homeless that was super interested. I had a debit card because I got my first job at 14 so I got an account. cool and fun story

I don't know how I stumbled across the Front Page, but I remember looking at all the Forums tags in the right hand box and thinking it was stupid as hell. Then I starting reading behind the paywall. and here I am.

I used to read zug.com which was basically a guy writing funny articles and doing pranks. Once he decided to see what taking Viagra was like so he took it before going to church with his wife Anyway they had a discussion board and someone posted about the PowerBook prank. 2003?

Planetquake back in the 90s. There was also a kid from school who played quake and used to be a frequent poster, and he got me to make an account (back when they were free). Guy was hella alt-right and I never saw him again after the paywall went up.

Someone on the old myspace forums back around 2004 (which was this insane wild west that I miss dearly where, among other things, people could insert bits of code into their posts to change the page layout) told me that I 'wasn't even funny enough to post on something awful'. As true as that may be, it was still a really mean thing to say to a teenager.

I habituated that whole scene of atrocity tourism/E/N/trolling websites in the very late 90s and early 2000s, mostly Portal of Evil. Various people I met from that were goons, and the concept of a community of people even more twisted and nerdy then them always fascinated me.
