My unpopular opinion / conspiracy theory is that Ashcroft's book and particularly his claims about Cameron in particular were part of a calculated scheme to guarantee the referendum for Leave.

Personally I blame years and years of poo poo tabloid bile against Europe and the very idea of foreign people existing in general. People didn't like or respect Cameron long before pigfuckgate.

Cameron's a loving idiot for promising a referendum he didn't want in order to court UKIP votes and then losing it though. Hoist petard etc.

To relate it to UK TV, I feel that Cameron ought to have had Jeremy Clarkson out for Remain from the moment Boris Johnson said he was behind Leave. It might have been a good countermeasure to Boris. People like Clarkson in the same way they like Johnson ("He's just such a classic legend, mate!").

My favourite part about the whole thing was regardless of whether it happened or not, the general opinion was 'well, that seems like the kind of thing he'd do...'

Heh, true.

If you'd told me at the start of the year that David Cameron could possibly have shagged a dead pig and Ian Paisley Jr. would be encouraging people to get Irish passports, the former would definitely have been a lot more believable.

Now that story isn't true, but I think that what it tells us about Cameron is true.

By all accounts they filmed another and it's sitting in Sky's vaults waiting for the never-never time for it to air.

The order you watch them in really doesn't make a difference this isn't a drama serial go wild.

In any event, I bet Clarkson feels a bit silly for not getting more involved now that May and Hammond are in charge of the country.

Especially when he's so good at it.

For example, one of his TV review columns detailing his plan to enact a mass suicide off the coast of Love Island so the cameras can be rolling when bodies start washing up on the beach.

Can of Worms, the latest red dwarf episode is by far the best one this season. like really good.

I'm hungry. Feed me.
Is it just me, or have most of the episodes of Red Dwarf XI so far ended really abruptly? I've not seen Can of Worms yet, but Give & Take is the only one so far that felt like it had a "natural" ending.

Taskmaster is amazing, as ever. Al Murray pointing out the morse code with the balloons was brilliant, although I'm sure someone will come along and say that it didn't actually say that in morse code ;)

Not just you. The pacing feels off. It's 20 minutes of build up and Kryten explaining the plot, little bit of action, then it's over.
