My older brother refused to eat baked beans so he got spaghetti on bread or toast. He's dumb, canned spaghetti is awful, at least baked beans has texture. I grew up poor and still sometimes eat canned food, but never spaghetti or salmon.

 Spicy stewed beef lungs. She claims she's the only person selling it in the whole of Osaka but I find that hard to believe lol. Still prefer the Malay style spicy deep fried beef lungs we get at home  We opted not to get this because the novelty of eating sparrow could not justify the price point  One of my fav things in Nishiki Market was seeing an anthropomorphied cod roe as a plush toy blushing as you bite into it whispering sensei~  These guys are everywhere at Nishiki and Kuromon. Basically candied baby octopus with a quail egg stuffed into their head. I didn't try it because I'm not a big fan of the chinese-style without the quail egg but my travelmate did and he was like "it's ok i guess if you don't remember that they scoop out this poor baby's brains and replaced it with an aborted quail" so yeah

beef lung is 100% one of the best parts of the cow and it's extremely sad that it's illegal to sell in the states i dunno about the sparrow being that expensive, i would've paid $4

Despite how many times I've seen that posted joke or not, it still skieves me. Funny thing though, a friend of mine on Facebook who's done amazing with losing weight and getting in shape will go on tangents of posting ugly food pics with the trolling comments of clean eating/ketodiet..etc.. That the pics he posts showed up in the thread a day or so before he posts them seriously makes me wonder if he's a goon or lurks the thread. Unfortunately there's no not awkward way of trying to ask someone you know face to face if they post on these sorry dead forums.
