That reminds me a little of that trout flavored icecream on some iron chef america or something episode. I've always kind of wanted to try it despite the disgusted reaction it got.

For me it's the "tastes like the ocean" flavor, which strangely is what the people that actually like it describe it as too. I guess I tasted some bad ocean because I always thought it was really gross.

Sea urchin is very seasonal. I've had it out of season and it was horribly bitter and gross, but fresh and in season it's superb, I could eat it all day.
