Captain Invictus posted:This Thai webtoon showed up recently, and it looks like it might be interesting, it's called Teen Mom. It's about a high school graduate who finds out she's pregnant and doesn't know what to do, there's only a half dozen chapters so far and they're short, but it looks cute and I think it's the first Thai series I've seen that's been translated. Looks pretty cute indeed. The only other translated Thai works I can think of is Ratana Satis's stuff, the only one I read was Lily Love and kinda dropped it out of apathy once it started going too heavy on the drama for me. There might be more translated Thai stuff out there we're just blissfully ignorant of though!

I'm sure everyone's familiar with Mad Bull 34. But I know there was a sequel called "Mad Bull 2000." Has anyone read this or know if it was ever translated? Seems odd there's so little information about it considering how crazy the original was.

Y'know, when someone says "CQC" in a japanese comic, i expect them to reference Metal Gear, and not Splinter Cell 1.5/10, would maybe read again edit: also that loving half-life wallpaper

her entire gimmick is that she's into western games, it had to be splinter cell since i think rear end Creed was mentioned already.

So is there any other manga similar to Dorohedoro? I think it's one of my favorite of all times because of the weird setting, good characters and humor.

Check out Eurocomics, it's a lot closer in feel than other mangas I find. Not that there aren't some really cool weird experimental mangas out there, they just aren't as popular or easy to find.

Dorohedoro reminded me of Appleseed, mostly because of the strong trust Caiman and Nikaido share. There's a lot of violence and humor too.
