A sweeping new Department of Justice directive calling for the review of dozens of agreements between police departments and the federal government is raising alarms among police reform advocates around the country, with critics arguing that the Trump White House is dead-set on undoing hard-won criminal justice achievements. Late Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions released a memo calling on his two top deputies to “immediately review all Department activities” for adherence to the Trump administration’s law enforcement agenda. The areas Sessions highlighted for review included collaborative investigations and prosecutions, law enforcement grants, training, compliance reviews, and more. apparently the engines of almost every proton rocket in russia's inventory have critical manufacturing defects and all need to be refurbished. the first signs of this was seen in 2013 when one of the rockets flipped around and started flying back towards the pad seconds after launch due to a sensor being installed upside down. an official said that the sensors are built such that they can only be installed in one orientation, but that they can be slotted in in the wrong configuration if large amounts of force is applied.

in other news, dude who applied for work in russian riot police has died after a year of medical issues following being unfairly brutalised during admission trials. he did win two fights against local troopers in unarmed combat trials, and when he was schedule for a run he instead had to fight some trooper significantly more massive than himself. dude got beaten up so badly you could literally see on his photos a flat depression on the side of his head
