I had assumed, given the landmark GW vs Chapterhouse court case bring such a big deal, that Chapterhouse produced half decent stuff. Now rethinking that.

The conversion beamer they used to sell was pretty good. That was about the only thing I liked, and they stopped selling that a couple years ago.

To be fair on the imperium they build most of their vehicles from STCs they dig up. For every reasonable vehicle they find they probably also find ones which were probably some ancient imperial interns* first try at real design. Since the imperium doesn't know any better they think it's kickin rad. *GW Sculptor

Can't help but notice khornites are getting more Sigmar every release, and now they have a loving Warpriest? Atleast he's not the one with a hammer. (I know, it's technically a flail)

There is a lot hosed up about that model, but the thing that gets me is exactly how many joints do her wrists have? I'm guessing three at least.

Finally, Equilibrium, tiny resin boobs, and broken joints, together at last

Hauki posted:Haha, chaos dwarves were like the one army I really wanted as a kid, but GW had already priced me out of their flagship games. I played a little blood bowl and necromunda, but as a 12 year old saving up Christmas and birthday money, that's all I could afford to play and a good chunk of that was bought second-hand from other regulars at the store I think. There was no way in hell my parents would've shelled out enough for a battle box or whatever to get started, and I didn't have the self-discipline to save up from year to year. Once everything went under the umbrella of 'specialist games' and wasn't really supported anymore, both of those games gradually died off at my local store and almost all of the regulars moved to 40k only, which I had no models for. I still think about trying to pick up a mess of chaos dwarves secondhand though I guess I'd be more likely to play them in KoW or something at this point. You in the US? what's your email>?

I like that the sculptor decided that visible nipple bumps were important Sister Croft there, but decided that she didn't deserve the slightest amount of muscle definition.

My immediate thought was to wonder why they've modelled their battlenun shooting herself in the head with her own rifle. THen I looked harder at what was going on with the hands.

When they rotated the right handed gun even flexible 3d modelling physics failed and the hand popped out of the socket. I remember the Equilibrium guy in a similar pose though, so in some way it must be physically possible, just not exactly like this?

Z the IVth posted:When they rotated the right handed gun even flexible 3d modelling physics failed and the hand popped out of the socket. Try the pose yourself! It is very uncomfortable and nearly impossible without hurting something. Protip: get someone else to model the pose you just made, if they can't do it chances are you just made poo poo! Equilibrium guy had his wrists rotated so that his palms were perpendicular to his body, very easy to do.
