Who knows, but according to the source, he lived. PCP is a hell of a drug! But I'm sure he wasn't feeling too great after that.

Was the distribution system OK though? Probably had or or two recloser shots on that. :ohdear:

I would contact SKM (the company that makes PowerTools power system analysis software) and see if they can provide me a time-current curve for a 30-something adult male. But they stopped returning emails after I asked for a TCC for a tenpenny nail, a penny, and a screwdriver blade.

Gotta love how the employer who failed to provide proper safety gear and failed to provide proper training was only fined $12,765 for that. And that company had already been fined a whopping $2,270 back in 2008, for other violations. Hmmm....maybe pitifully small fines that are cheaper than actually following proper safety practices, are part of the reason why a lot of employers don't bother with proper safety!

I don't know poo poo about electricity, but i wouldn't be surprised if the system was fried after such a shocking event :mmmhmm:

To get an arm blown off, sure. I feel like that's probably one of the few cases where a shot from a rifle is probably one of the saddest ways to handle the situation

E: safest, of course, but I'm sure it could be sad for someone involved as well

What about driving a few meters forward? The cab is well away from the wheel and while there's enough stored energy to take someone's arm off I doubt there's enough to seriously perturb the vehicle's stability.
