You mean enhanced dimetrium ore? Otherwise, you probably sold that all off too, there's a lot of it in the base game. The cost/crafting requirements for grandmaster stuff are pretty dumb, because it's an enormous money sink, and crafting is tedious, and things like acid extract can be limited, and all I really want to do is hang up some armor at my baller estate. It's the end game, nobody buys swords or anything from merchants anyway, and the economy has been broken since any place after White Orchard. Just let us enjoy any/all of the coolest stuff of our choice. Why shouldn't we be able to go from Wolf to Bear to Cat experimenting in the last 20 hours?

It's a bit much to lock a sidequest behind a seemingly normal Contract, which gets cancelled otherwise since a quest-dependant character gets eaten by a bear in King's Gambit? There's a good reason for it though. the main guy in cave of dreams dies in King's Gambit.

Should be fine then and can just kick the difficulty down if poo poo gets dumb. at the very end I don't remember what the highest levels of beasts are in B&W, but whatever it is, add your current level to them and you'll find out if they'll be over level 100. Of course, it may be patched by the time you get there. I started (and overwrote) a NG+ when it first came out and they looked the same as the progression from the original run. That might have changed. I started a new NG+ with my GM gear from B&W and it's much more fun IMO. Hobo Clown posted:So you need to find diagrams again in NG+, but could I just make the armor I plan to wear and leave it in the stash before starting? It would be a waste of time and money because the armor you'd make would be of the level they are in regular playthrough. They will not upscale with you on NG+. Witcher gear definitely, I have to assume the random gear (i.e. random other gear you can craft) would follow the same rule.

The funny part is on my current NG+ I've been way overdue to switch to my base level "Legendary" Griffon gear but haven't done it because dat GM extra cast.

I was on my way to do King's Gambit, but then saw a lighthouse in the distance and said "I'm gonna go check that out!" Then I had to kill a monster, then I had to talk to a guy, and then I'm in jail, and then I owe someone a favor... Whole lot of content I would've missed if I hadn't explored. I feel like I saw most everything else during my playthrough but who knows?

New game + thoughts - The first griffin you have to take down in white orchard, where you fight it, then it takes off and you have to chase it down on your horse? It's a real shame you never had to do that again because that was loving awesome.

I'm on PS4 and the load times are nearly unbearable. Probably the worst of any game time I've ever played. Not that each one is long, but that it has to load every single time I say anything to someone. "Hello." *Camera unfocuses, loads for 7 seconds* "Hello, Witcher." *Camera unfocuses, loads for 7 seconds* "I'm looking for a woman" *Camera unfocuses, loads for 7 seconds* "Oh, are you now?" *Camera unfocuses, loads for 7 seconds* It's only awful because this game is so dialogue and story driven, but Jesus Christ I see why this game has 100 hours of gameplay now, 80 of those hours are spent watching a fuzzy Geralt and the little loading ouroboros.

Nthed. I'm playing it on PS4 as well and sometimes the screen will go blurry for a fraction of a second if I skip the dialogue and it has to change camera angles but that's it and certainly nowhere like 7 seconds.

Maybe once in a rare instance and only when the dialogue starts.

So I just downloaded the Wolf School Armor Set DLC. I looked it up and it says I have to buy the maps from some vendors. No big deal. I go to Hattori in Novigrad and all he has are Griffin armor maps and then I go to the blacksmith in Skellige and he doesn't see the maps either. If it matters I'm in at the very last boss of the game but haven't beaten him yet. I've also started the Hearts of Stone DLC. I've also gone to the actual body in Kaer Morhen near the ruined tower and there is nothing to loot. Is this a glitch? I've restarted my PS4 and reloaded different saves too.

Probably a stupid question but are there any mods out there for people with red/green colorblindness so they can better see witcher vision? Finding footprints and other clues on green grass is kind of a crapshoot for me whether I can spot the trail immediately or if I have to wander the same patch of land for 10 minutes until I see a faint hint of movement. It's not a huge deal but if the color were blue or something it'd be so much easier for me.
