So I was sitting here playing a game on my computer, when I repositioned my self and felt a soft squish under my arm. It was still pretty dark at the time so I gave it a little poke to see what it was only for it to hop away. Because it was a frog.  I didn't think to take a picture of it inside but this is after I let it back outside. I have absolutely no idea how it got into my room, let alone on my computer chair in the time I was moving around. It really didn't want to go though. When I brought it back outside it stayed on the edge of my fingers and refused to move until I coaxed it onto the little shelf there. Anyone know what species that is?

Although it might be a Cope's gray treefrog, Dryophytes chrysoscelis which is "almost indistinguishable " from the gray. I'm guessing you didn't hear any call, which is about the only easy way to tell them apart. Anyway, cool frog find! Glad you didn't squish it accidentally!

One of my neighbors in this apartment had a ferret escape and it came up to my door and we took it in for a few hours while we were finding the owner. In this time, it found its way into the wall behind our cabinets and we needed the owner to get it out. I can't imagine what losing a little guy behind a freezer isle in a store would be like.

I really like frogs, so I was happy to find him once I got over the shock of finding one in my room. And no he made no noise. Was a hell of a squirmer though and nearly forced himself out of my cupped hands multiple times as I took him back outside. I know skin oils are bad for frogs but I didn't have anything else on hand that would contain him properly without him just jumping out of it and hurting himself or getting caught by the cat.
