The first year of the Lumina APV was 1990, so how can it be the "most '80s"?

Also, the most '80s minivan was the Pontiac Shuttlecraft Trans Sport.

Surely, the most 80s minivan was the one that created the minivan in the 80s, the dodge caravan/Plymouth voyager.

I guess if you want to be factual and all. But did it look totally radical with scifi design like the Lumina/Transport?

Although you could get a caravan with faux woodgrain, which is just 80s as hell. Hmmm.

This may be :thejoke:, but the Transport was the same van with Pontiac plastic cladding. Now the Olds Silhouette was… the same van but slightly classier.

You really had to admire GMs commitment to the aesthetic, though, with that huge front window that had to be gold tinted to keep it from frying the occupants. My parents had the Olds van for a while and the giant expanse of vinyl that was the top of the dash looked like a ski jump by the time they disposed of it.
The facelift to attempt to make it look like a normal van was laughable, but it at least made the dash normal.

I’m not hip enough to get all that, but I appreciate the banana-for-scale in the pictures.

Also Alex Jones is a delusional fuckwit selling nothing but fear and hate. Inn short: Alex Jones was wrong and it was proved In court. Not that it will matter - obviously the courts are in on the conspiracy, right?

Edit: LOL, and shortly after posting this, I see on the news that he was fined almost a billion dollars for being not-right about Sandy Hook.
