Tyler and Vince Staples are touring together http://www.brooklynvegan.com/tyler-the-creator-vince-staples-announce-2018-tour/ I'm going to the NYC show since Theatre at MSG seems like a rad loving venue for it (mixed standing/seating, ~5000 cap). guessing it'll sell out instantly but looks like they might have room to add another date around it if they want

Yea got on to Yung Lean on Friday and been listening to just his stuff and the Big Krit album since then Yung Gud is just great and Lean fits the beats nicely. I wish Clams Casino hadn't almost disappeared (looked into his recent stuff but it didn't grab me, have I missed anything good since his 2011 prime?) I had really gone off KRIT but this is his best since Return of 4eva. It's kinda poppy tho, catchy but corny.

Krit's first two mixtapes were pretty good but he just kept getting more and more boring and one-note with each release. I haven't listened in a while though maybe he's better now but I'm not gonna bother to find out.

You should give his new stuff a shot.

Cool I’ll check it out then e; I listened to most of it, it started good and had some fun songs in the beginning but kept getting more and more about god and ~the duality of man~ and that's what I really don't like about his music. This song is a good example and I feel like he's made a ton of other songs similar to this. I really hate religion though so that biases my opinion quite a bit. Robert Analog posted:Cool I’ll check it out then I agree with you, it can be off putting and I'm the same way but I at least appreciate his ability to tell a story through an album. Both sides of the album have a purpose and he flows in content and narrative from song to song. Those types of albums don't come this cohesive in message often. At the very least it's got bangers, some easy listening and is his first really well mastered album (his other stuff had some REAL problems there). It was worth the money at least and I hope he can build on this.

Yeah you were right it flowed well and didn't slog at all, an achievement for an album that long. He's very talented as a rapper and producer I just don't always care about what he's rapping about I guess.

I once saw MC Hammer perform at halftime of a Pistons game in 2012 or 2013 and it was infinitely better than that But also if you're paying for the Hawks and Kings in their current states you shouldn't expect anything good.
