You guys might enjoy this. Texas attorney applies for job with smallish county's DA office, gets accepted, but the job offer is later withdrawn. As a result, he's suing the District Attorney. Then things get crazy. It turns out that he was a member of a hate group, and had been kicked off a facebook page for Texas attorneys over racist remarks.

Haha he's replying to random commentators on the comments section, surely that won't come back to bite him in the rear end, no sir

I love how as the internet becomes mainstream, it in turn is ousting shittards who thought they had a "safe space" where they could share their racist, misogynistic, and toxic ideas between each other (although it is also radicalizing everyone who stays in their bubbles so it's a mixed bag I guess)

Some choice words from the star of the show himself:

sucks to be right
The right wing political group One Nation here in Australia recently rolled out their latest candidate and it turned out that when he was a cop 15 years ago he and a few other cops kidnapped some indigenous kids, drove them 7 miles out into the bush, took their shoes and ordered them to walk back to town barefoot. One of them also threatened to cut their fingers off but the case got chucked out of court when the judge decided that the kids had gone with them voluntarily. The candidate managed to shake that off when it was brought up by journalists last week but they then discovered that he'd recently sent death threats to a former employee and had engaged in some creative backyard landscaping:

When initially asked whether he had skeletons in his closet that would give a potential employer pause, Van Dyke said he had represented a victim of revenge pornography and been involved in other contentious litigation.

Later, Van Dyke confirmed he attended MSU and took part in the event but declined to elaborate.

He said while in Michigan, he was arrested on domestic violence and gun charges.

He said the charges were later dismissed for lack of evidence and expunged from his record.

Van Dyke doesn't consider the SPLC to be credible and therefore doesn't think Tyler should have considered it during the hiring process.

Tyler declined to explain why he rescinded the offer.

"I would suggest that there is plenty of information publicly available," Tyler wrote via email.

I'll say!

I hope there's some sort of ethics clause in the employment agreement so he gets nothing.

ETA: maybe he'll get disbarred! It seems he doesn't like being a lawyer anyway, so everybody wins.

I cant believe that he sent vague threats to a twitter user! Naturally, these were instantly tweeted out for all of us to see.

Honestly though those threats should really be forwarded to law enforcement in Victoria. Homeboy thinks he's a thug or something.

We got some kids books in where I work today, and the stories were amazing.

One was about a penguin who wanted to fly, but everyone told her it was impossible. Then she slipped on some ice and fell off a cliff. Kiwi flashbacks!

The other was about a panda who escaped from an American zoo and befriended a raccoon in an alley. The panda didn't like any of the literal trash the raccoon tried to feed him, so they went to the library and found a book about pandas and stowed away on a flight to China. They learned Tai Chi and visited the Great Wall. Then they went to this panda sanctuary, and they tearfully said goodbye as the raccoon went back to America while the panda found a home filled with bamboo. The sanctuary then put the panda in a crate and sent it back to the same goddamn zoo. Of course the panda re-escaped, found his raccoon buddy, and the raccoon took the panda to a garden center where he ate lucky bamboo out of the dumpster.

The second one is a lesson straight out of chapelle show. http://www.cc.com/video-clips/b4ylib/chappelle-s-show-kneehigh-park-pt--2---uncensored
