Lethal is a heel and it's OK for them to re-establish him as one in light of the reactions he was getting against Briscoe. Having him win dirty is fine for now, imo, especially since they should be protecting Kyle as he's arguably the best worker they have. Depending on how long they want to have him hold the belt, the face turn and him breaking with House of Truth is better for him acting like a heel in the meantime.

The problem I kinda have is that Lethal looked a lot stronger in Best in the World and Death Before Dishonor. He's a dude who took the Jay Brisco to a limit and won pretty cleanly and then took Roddy an hour without losing, and beat him in the rematch as well. And then he can't go 20 minutes with reDragon in 2 matches? For the first time defending it twice in one night, Lethal should have pinned Fish and then beat Kyle by interference. Protect Kyle, keep him on the ME cusp, and get reDragon back into the tag title picture. Let Lethal realize how bad of an idea to defend both in the same night was at least once. He's a heel, let him eat crow. The ME angle would have been a whole hell of a lot more palatable if the show hadn't been alternating gently caress finishes to that point. The angle was done well, but goddamn, would it have killed them to give a clean finish in at least one of the title matches
