Yeah, the story that was linked had him discussing models and an upcoming "survival game" (I'm assuming this is like paintball with airsoft?) with a bunch of people half the time. Heck, I'm pretty sure the guy you mentioned appears and gets his channel linked halfway through (has hundreds of thousands of views). I didn't know it was such a popular thing, since I thought guns were super regulated there, but I guess that's the very reason why such a community would appear in the first place. EDIT: Don't really wanna double post but someone finally bothered making English patches for all the PC-98 games. Comes with a ton of trivia. As for his commercial publications, some of the Touhou manga and books have been published in Taiwan, Korea, Thailand and Indonesia, so it seems he has always understood that they are out of his hands. In theory, I don't think he'll stop you from publishing the three fairies manga in the United States if you want to.

I can only imagine how metal the games remix of Mystic Sect of Solar Wisdom will be. Also, Marisa and Reimu have new sprites. That's nice. Hatate too! One of the best Touhous is now ready!

As far as I can tell, the issue is that while it's trivial to decompile the .exe in Game Maker, without the appropriate modules there's no way to recompile. So no easy access to the .dats.

Anyway, from the looks of the interface, it would seem the story progression is actually going to be partial UFO->IN->SA, if only because Utsuho had stupid amounts of MP compared to Eirin (990 MP to 450 MP). It's probably going to be set up IN > SA > IN, since the game is named after IN. Utsuho is living nuclear power, of course she has a bajillion MP. ...Though Utsuho would make a much cooler final boss. Also the best random rear end reference was Mokou pulling a Revolving Stake on Meiling.
