I like Saturation 1 better than both 2 and 3. This one is probably my least favorite TBH but I don't mean to imply I dislike it. The beats are great and there are some really cool tracks on it.

I thought he was reading off something but i don't think he was. I don't understand what it must take to have that not only memorized but also near flawless delivery.

Most rappers who can write lyrics can do it to some extent, His ability to do it without the obvious tricks that other Rappers use to stall in a freestyle to keep going is what makes that so goddamn impressive. Most of them either trail off, say something to the host, or use a phrase they like and repeat it a couple of times before catching the beat again. It's not usually just memorization, it's creating as you go.

Saturation III is the best of the three. The autotune R&B poo poo is so boring on the other two, all I wanted was a beat on every track, and they pulled through.

Listened to the new NERD. Not every track on it is a total loving knockout like Lemon, 1000 and Rollinem 7's, but the production is some of the best on any album all year. You can really tell they squeezed every ounce of headroom out of certain frequencies.

But yeah, between this and SAT III, who in their right mind would choose to listen to Revival when other way more interesting options are available? lol

Hey SA, it's been awhile. Still needa give n.e.r.d a listen, are there any other albums they've made that're worth listening to?

Also SatIII is great, as expected.Though 1 is still my favorite. Not locking that in yet but it's in the back of my mind.

em could have made a good album. he decided on big name features for some non-hiphop reason. an em album with just rappers, and like non-big rappers, would have been great.
i really wonder about the conversations that go in em's studio.

em's album is too pop focused for me. I like Chloraseptic and Framed is okay.

Someone said that 1999/2000 em would rip shreds out of 2017 em, I think that's fairly accurate. He's kinda become everything he used to hate.

I’ll catch NERD and Sat III this week. Dedication is now pretty much Front to back for me. It’s infectious. What are some albums you guys think about this time of year?

Blue Dream and Lean, the first ASAP Rocky and Blackland Radio 66.6 was a dope winter.

Winter 2010 I was super into EARL and any OF I could get my hands on. Winter 09 was Guccimerica and Blueprint 3D. Winter 05 w Carter 2.

Habits & Contradictions (TDE’s Best release) was a good winter release.

My FB feed is full of people praising the new Em album and how "deep" and "lyrical" it is. It makes me realize that I live in a small town with no tastemakers. Even the "local rappers" are some of the worst I've ever heard.
