https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFiyOw6n2ms wtf is this ad. Guy takes the Mustang to a construction site because his wife needs the F-150 to load a small crate of pottery into the frunk? Ford has gone woke. Seriously though the aggro child-killing hood is so much more ridiculous on electric trucks.

LonsomeSon posted:one of the things about driving is that you can break all kinds of rules about it and mostly not be caught by anyone who can do anything about it, so i have to imagine there’s an element of “but no that’s supposed to be my privilege, of driving!” kicking in when these MFs imagine a cyclist not perfectly adhering to the law this is great insight, and i'm definitely going to use it!

That stuff always drives me crazy as if cyclists aren't head on a swivel w/ all the poo poo in a street that could kill them. "They blow stop signs!" What they never mention is if anyone was actually at that stop sign, stopped, etc. Doing replacement rides always reminds me how little effort it takes to get somewhere in a car. Full body workout vs pushing my foot down for a few minutes. Which then drives me crazy when motorists get all wigged out, but I think it's cause they know how lazy they're being.

that might be something worth free-associating about while high: ways car brain and Protestant Work Ethic don’t conflict, but should, and how the thought-terminating cliches around the exceptions work

a winched car is technically a type of train so this destruction of historic ??? (mining?) garbage is firmly the fault of communism.

Biked 32km yesterday and my butt is sore. Need to bike more often to rebuild sitting bone padding. Hell, it's kind of the same with skating and sore feet (the bottom mainly).

I ordered one of these fold up exercise bikes yesterday in hopes of working in some extra activity while I work/watch tv/game. They seem a lot more compact than the kind of stuff that was available when I was a kid. I'll report back if I like it.

I rode 38 km yesterday. And had a car reverse into the bike lane to park just ahead of me but I managed to avoid them.
