It's hilarious that Kwannon has been in both the worst and one of the best books since the relaunch (Fallen Angels and Hellions, respectively).

the unfortunate part is how her motivation in hellions is based on the events of fallen angels.

Was Spawn 8 the Alan Moore issue? I remember Neil Gaiman or Peter David taking an easy shot at the writing in Spawn, but they quoted a line from Moore’s issue which I always thought was kinda funny.

This is literally the plot of Penultiman from Ahoy Comics, except this is the ending, and the low self esteem superhero decides to go along with it. I was super disappointed in the end of that comic.

I know in is first appearance he's a bad guy, but I love flashback stuff and modern retellings of Green Lantern origins where everybody is like "huh, there's something a little fishy about this Sinestro guy," or immediately after his heel turn "How could you betray us like that Sinestro?"

Glad to see that, far too many writers feel like Kurt being Catholic and being a goofy fun flirty dude are just diametrically opposed so they only do one or the other.
