With CM7, how can I customize LED notifications? In handcent you can change the flash frequency of the LED but it appears to be that CM7 has it's own way of controlling the LED. If I try to test the notification in handcent nothing will happen with the LED.

When you setup and application in the LED Notification section, there's a blink rate setting. Apart from that, are you talking reminders? ie every 5 minutes it starts blinking again and plays a ringtone?

I'm in the LED Notification settings thing, if I go to misc. and find handcent, all I have is Category (Which I have no idea what its suppose to do), Flash color and Flash Test. I'm on the EVO Shift so maybe each phone doesnt have the frequency option.

Yeah I have an OG Droid so I'm not sure. Doesn't hurt to play with the settings and try though.

CM 7.0.2 stable was released this morning for the OG Droid. Probably going to flash to it at some point today since I'm still on nightly 42. Anyone install 7.0.2 yet though for their OG?

Make a new category (name it Handcent if that's all you want at that Blink rate) and it'll let you adjust things.

I'm planning on SBFing when I get home from work. My question is: After I SBF, root, and bootstrap, can I go straight to restoring the working Gingerbread backup I made before doing all this? Or do I have to install Gingerbread as if I was installing the leak for the first time? Then can I restore the backup? When can I restore the backup is all I'm really asking. You should probably install the Gingerbread update.zips first. Just to be safe. Once you're running rooted GB, restore your backup.

Yeah, still seem to be having trouble here, too. Since I had problems restoring my last Sense backup, I guess I'll have to backup, download and flash a Sense ROM, do the GPS fix, then restore my backup... and that's more effort than I care to put in at the moment.

From what I can tell there is a difference between phones in those settings. Don't bother asking on XDA, they will ignore rather than attempt to answer.

I just updated CM7 on my EVO to the latest RC and now I get black screens when trying to open up different things or text or anything. When I turn off the screen and turn it back on it resolves the issue but is there something else that can be causing this error? Also, if I'm rooted how do I update my Sprint profile? I seem to be having issues with data connection and I can't find the option under settings.

ok so now I'm confused. I updated to cm7.0.2 on the OG droid. Had nightly 41 before and rc4 before that. In rc4, I could plug my phone into my computer and it would bring up the mount option for the computer. Now, since 41 and stable 7.0.2, plugging in the phone to the computer only enables usb debugging. Nothing pops up to mount the sd to the computer. Is this something they removed from cm7? Anyone else with an OG Droid having the same issue?

I've been using the same kernel throughout all of them though. Chevy 1gig low voltage.

This happened to my EVO while back, but flashing to the newest nightly (at the time) fixed it (mostly). As someone else said, try updating to CM 7.0.0 (at least), and preferably get 7.0.2. Currently (as of CM 7.0.0), I only have two real problems: 1. Apps that use GPS (such as Google Maps, Google Navigation, and Trapster in particular) don't seem to actually STOP when I exit them. Today I found that my battery was draining quickly because Maps was responsible for 38% of my usage...even though I hadn't used Maps since last night, and I charged my phone overnight. 2. Twitter doesn't retain my login-information between reboots. This is hardly a deal-breaker, since I can just type it in once every few days when I restart, but it's annoying. It didn't seem to start happening until about a week ago when I decided to do a "restart" instead of a "Shut Down" and then restart my phone. I would greatly welcome any help/suggestions on these issues if anyone has any information. SyRauk posted:Also, if I'm rooted how do I update my Sprint profile? Unfortunately I don't know what you're talking about, though you probably have to be on a Stock-based ROM to do whatever you are talking about.

Finally my laziness pays off. I meant to flash to 7.0.2 yesterday but never got around to it. I don't suppose this update for the camcorder allows for 720p recording, does it? That's one thing that bugs me about CM7.

What's the status on 2.3 support for the original Desire? Last I heard, every available ROM has an issue where the microphone doesn't activate for the first second or so of every call, and people were saying that it couldn't be fixed until HTC released some 2.3 compatible drivers or something. Is this still the case?

Just an update, the leaked radio for the tbolt have been giving me random shutdowns on my phone the past 2 days. Not even reboots, but shutdowns. Not very cool for someone who uses their phone as an alarm clock.
