 I STILL don't see what makes this such a brilliant piece of satire. So everyone is rah-rah and they are out to kill the enemy with no thought of why they are doing it. And this is different from your normal brainless sci-fi movie, how exactly? The director's commentary apparently clues you in that the director was doing all of that on purpose, but it's not very obvious if you just watch the movie that this is all a big piece of satire and not just a straightforward dumb action movie. That being said the action is pretty neat, with gore and tits and explosions etc etc.
