For the size and power of this combo, it has very good tone. The EQ works great and gives you a great variety of tone, however the bright switch doesnt seem to do much. At about 3/4 volume the lower notes start to distort significantly. Equipment Quality: 5/5. The Minx is built like a rock. It seems like it could take a lot of punishment. All the controls are very precise. Usefullness: 3/5. This is just a small practice amp but I believe it would work well for a gig in a small room. Playing over a drummer would be a stretch. Its definitely easy to haul around to an impromptu jam session. Overall Value: 4.5/5. For the money, I don't think there is a better practice amp out there.
