I just rented the first vhs, and I think this is one of those things that I can't watch raw. Maybe when I catch up to the fansubbers I'll have a good enough feel for it to watch raw but the first ep was pretty intimidating. Thanks for this great thread, it really convinced me to get into this show.

I can't download these fast enough. I mean, no matter how fast I get them, I eat them up like candy. I swear I'll be caught up to the subbers by the end of the month (week?).

I just watched ep24 ("Victory for whose sake?") and drat! I was thinking that the only thing this show is really missing to be a top-notch space opera is an interesting hard sci-fi twist. And Yang Wenli delivered! Hetook out the Artemis Necklacewith science:science:!

edit: although it seems suspcious. Wouldn't massive things like that going that quickly that near to a planet have some sort of effect on it?

Yeah that was pretty visceral.

drat! Now I'm caught up to the fansubbers. I hate when this happens. I see from my post at the top of this page that it took me 23 days. Now I'm completely addicted to this show. I spent fully 30 minutes today at a store flipping through doujins looking for Hilda porn. I am a bad person.

I love how these episodes can be so incredibly one dimensional, and yet more entertaining than most of the crap out there.

Also, I love the fact that CA used the word "grok" in their translation. Making Heinlein proud.
Came here to make the exact same post.
Also, "The Undutiness"?

drat you I hope those spoilers are real spoilers because I've decided not to read any more of them after the 'Kirchies incident, but having them just a mouseover away is very tantalizing. Anyway, the last ep seems to have got us ready for an exciting next one. I really like those 'history lesson' episodes. Were the written the same way into the manga or was there actually a really long prologue?

I'm not sure about this but I don't think there is a manga, the show is based off a series of books.
I knew that somewhere deep down, sorry. Question still stands though.

Those are kind of cool but what I really want is H-manga. I have a feeling that it will all be predominantly gay though.

Um...why? I mean...I understand why you would want H-manga, I mean who doesn't, but why a LoGH doujinshi?
