I can't say I understand the reaction of people who say things like "it didn't click," "it dragged on too long" or "I didn't have an emotional connection on any of the characters" especially from people who liked The Royal Tenenbaums. Really, I've never understood people who claim to try and "get a handle" on characters within a movie, like they're real people and can be summed up in 2 hours. TLA works because nobody is compressed into a film archetype that's neatly resolved by the end. It's one of Bill Murray's best and definitely Anderson's. Don't know what to say to people voting it 1.5 or 2.
