Just finished watching this. I'm not the biggest Wes Anderson supporter but I can recognize talent in filmmaking when I see it. The dialogue and cinematography were top notch, as was the haitian david bowie and the shoot-outs. Also loved Jeff Goldblum's character and the three-legged dog. The downsides to the movie were the lack of substance and how hard it was to become interested in. Definitely a background movie. Owen Wilson's character is annoying as all hell -- Murray's relationship with Defoe was much more engaging. 3/5
