It makes me a little sad to see that it's slower than an SV in the straights. I know that they're not wringing it's neck and all, it being a one off prototype, but I was hoping to see a solid 120-130 down the straights. I wonder if it starts to run into power dropping off due to the gearing/total RPM at that speed.

It's super neat to see it go around the track with no engine noise though.

Also no wheelies, not even off of 9 :(

All that is why I think why motorcycles will be the last bastion of gas powered vehicle when all cars are hybrids/electrics and stuff. Not to say that hybrid/ev cars can't be quick(look at porsche and tesla) but there's something magical about hearing the roar of an engine. Having said all that, the bike is super neat though.

I didn't read the previous report but a couple people mentioned a "fiasco" with it. This one is pretty much up to date as of yesterday(typing it up as they're going along) and looks like they're funding everything themselves - Maybe Fishfund guy learned his lesson who knows.

And i've read the Angola report. The update when they are riding on the beach with high tide coming in and the bikes breaking down was pretty intense, was definitely on the edge of my keyboard

Patrick is an idiot, not just because he recommended a I4 600 for a first bike but, because Ducati has a ton of WSBK championships(16 or something?) with their inferior vtwins(Ltwins).

The TU250x is literally the bike Fortnine says "they really need to make now" in this video. They just need to sell it for 2-3k new, instead of 5k new. It's a "classic" styled bike that all the hipsters should be buying instead of nightmare bikes from the 70s. I can dig the look, too, and feel it covers the starter bike needs of most riders, and would make a good general purpose bike.

But not for 5k msrp lmao

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlbkAhCNvik

If they could sell it for like 3500 even to undercut the Duke 200, it would great. But there's way too much really good competition at 5k.

Stretched swingarm, 26" front and rear wheel, Springer front end and massive amounts of copper plating.

The bike is a real show piece but easy to ride as well. Price is 100% firm.

As we were walking down the street from the place we were staying at, a Ducati rides by us. Did you tell them there is a tambourine, that's an integral part of how the transmission works?
