a friend took this picture on a huge random groupride yesterday (like 75 sportbikes).

Somehow I'm right in the middle of this picture, I think it's pretty cool

yeah it was pretty loving crazy. There are 2 bike shops that sponsor weekly rides. This particular shop (https://www.edrperformance.com) just moved to downtown portland and this was more of a show. We only rode like 13 miles, but having 75 bikes riding through downtown Portland was pretty crazy...

There were 2 other scooters on the ride. They were 2 aprillia shop scooters ridden by 2 of the shop workers wearing full leathers and skate shoes. One of them laid one of them down taking a corner too fast.

Well I had my first trackday yesterday and it was a blast. It was pouring on my way there and finally let up around the time I put my leathers on. Everything went well except for the first 2 sessions being wet and some guy layed his bike down and got oil all over an exit of a turn in the afternoon

I feel quite a bit more comfortable. I recommend to it to anyone. I still have a lot to learn though, haven't been riding all that long.

I did drag my knee today on my last lap which gave me a ginormous grin. I have 6.5 minutes of video that I need to get converted to put up here.

I don't want to give advice when I haven't done a trackday myself, but it looks like you're getting twisted when you hang off. It's most visible in the last pic. That's keeping your knee up and makes things feel strange. Dropping your inside shoulder should help keep the bike more stable, and you'll need replacment knee pucks pretty soon .

Yeah, it's not really feeling strange, but I do need to drop my shoulder a bit more. More crappy proofs... Maybe I'll buy some now..

Finally got around to editing this video. There were a few guys from a filming company that will follow you around for half a track session for $20 and burn you a dvd at the track. Pretty nifty.

This was my second lap of the session from the trackday I did last week. So I'm not too hot and heavy, and yes I scrub my speed of pretty early into turn 1 and 7.
