It has entered my mind on more than one occasion, but as much as I'd love a supermoto, I already have a mini supermoto and streetbike, so this is gonna be my dirt/dune machine. Regardless, it picks up the front end in any gear off hard acceleration, and I can ride a 4th gear clutch up for miles haha.

You know it's really not *that* hard to hydroplane with a dirtbike over deep water....fast speed + big skid plate = gliding right over it. People do it with snowboards and snowmobiles all the time, this is no different. Just because yours isnt deeper than 4" doesnt mean this is the exact same case as you.
