Spent christmas and new years in thailand, snapped a few bike pics while there. Choppah Rental scooters, CB400, this is a "Big" bike over there, only foreigners really ride anything over 200CC The bad rear end made in china dirtbike i rented. about 8 euros a day, 200ccs of dirt road eating fury. More faggy scooter paintjobs. You see guys on the 110cc scooters pulling these trailers all the time, i saw one towing a jetski and a banana boat on 2 trailers, this was the only sportbike i saw on trailer duty though

Took the f650 up some forestry roads today, the tyres are a bit too street orientated (front is pretty worn too) so it was a bit hairy in places but fun and the forestry land is 5 minutes up the road. I might get some more offroad biased tyres for it once i get the SV back on the road. lovely mobile phone camera pic

4/20 NEVER FORGET posted:The one flaw the bike has is it was dropped in a driveway so it has a tiny rash spot on the fairing and the engine case on the side you can't see in the pics. When that happened it bent the clutch lever, which I cleaned up as best as I could but it definitely needs a new one. What would you recommend for a aftermarket replacement? Pazzo's are awesome, a mate has them on his Fireblade and they're the comfiest, most easily adjusted levers of all the bikes i've ridden

pics of another buddys current bikes. his z1000, this thing has every bolt on or drop in mod possible, zx9 engine bits: cams and flywheel i think, Powercommander, full system. his Blade streetfighter, personally i dont like a lot of the asthetics, but hey, its still a cool bike, i think thats a honda car wheel on a vfr swinger with a bike tyre crammed onto it. since that pic he's fitted an MV Agusta tail and exhausts to replace the R1 race fairing tail and laser mv agusta-knockoff pipes. his ludicrous GSXR 1100 streetfighter, about to get cams, ignition advance and dynojet kit. Again i think its a minger but fighters are a pretty love em or hate em experience in my book. its mostly the tailpiece on this one, i hate that "german" style that looks like you've been rearended

Went to a drag racing event yesterday, it was run on closed public roads which is awesome, however their fancy new wireless timing gear was hosed so after two hours of sitting around they just let everyone do fun runs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7NUkH2CTgs crappy mobile phone video. the camber on the road had interesting effects on the guys in the right hand lane, there were a few hair raising moments when guys veered right over into the hard shoulder. there's another one on in may, hopefully they'll have working timing and i'll have a better camers for that one.

Got a text off one of the lads. his engine had started making a slight knocking yesterday, on the way home while overtaking two cars, this happened. managed to keep it upright and get stopped despite the oil all over his brakes, wheels, red hot headers (end of a 25 mile commute) and legs. was about a mile from his house, and his girlfriend heard the bang from their yard.
