Skier posted:I saw some guy do this on a big BMW motorcycle before. He rocked back so the rear tire touched the ground, dumped the clutch and took off. That's pretty bad rear end. My friend goes off his center stand, but he has to rock forward enough for the momentum to raise the center stand and for the rear wheel to hit the pavement. I think he does it without giving it any gas until he's on the ground, so he doesn't rocket off at the end.

HNasty posted:There is no exhaust note only wind noise, I'm gonna work on fixing that problem. I can't find the video, but a Fifth Gear behind the scenes clip showed them pinning a remote microphone next to the exhaust to pick it up over the wind, which they then amp up during editing. Maybe you can get a similar setup.

I'm surprised by the ammount of "Look Out for Motorcycles" signs I see around Central IL. I see it on lots of cars (including cop cars) and big banners here and there. I'd get a bumper sticker, but it's yellow and doesn't match my car. Not a lof since I've moved up to Chicago, unfortunately.

Pvt. Public posted:Down here they had them at almost every major intersection where there was someplace to put the banners without them obstructing the motorist's view of the corners. I was pleasantly surprised. How did the traffic near campus treat you? That's the only part of town I avoid like the plague. Everywhere else is pretty good around here. I didn't go through campus like I thought I would. My buddy lives west of I-57 off of Bradely. I didn't have any problems riding around except for everyone driving slow. Chi-town everyone drives fast and cuts you off, but I'm so used to it, I'm never surprised.

$400 seems a tad too much for an impulse buy, but I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who'd want one. Make a couple more videos using it that aren't vehicle related to get a wider range of interest.
