*Perform audio restorations on feature soundtracks using Pro Tools
HD, Sonic Solutions NoNoise, CEDAR and/or AudioCube restoration tools.
*Edit, mix and master audio commentaries and special features.
*Lay back and load in audio from HD-D5 and NTSC Digibeta VTRs.
*Quality Control of soundtracks, commentaries and other special
features.
*Sound design of audio loops for DVD menus
*Entry-level freelance position (35-40 hours a week)
*Union Square, NYC location
Job Qualifications:
*Audio engineering/editing: Pro Tools, EQ, Compression. Familiary
with NoNoise, CEDAR or AudioCube a plus. Dialog editing experience a
plus.
*Computers: Mac, PC. Filemaker Pro experience a plus.
*Knowledge of video, audio and film. Familiarity with Broadcast type
VTR machines including Digibeta and D5 a plus.
*Strong appreciation for world cinema.
*Good attention to detail.
*Strong language, writing skills.
*Ability to work well with others. Reliable & responsible.
*Ability to problem-solve and/or troubleshoot technical equipment.
