Again, shittiest shifts ever. I'm also glad I've never seen this type of racing in real life.

I didn't think his shifts were especially lovely, he even blipped the throttle.

What kind of Honda was he driving? An S2000? The dash seems to be from an S2000.

Even Prelude TripTronics shouldn't have done that. the problem I have with both those peoples shifting are the up shifts. Sure the S2000 driver blipped on every down change but he slipped the gently caress out of the clutch on every up change. Big big big no no.

That, since the rear wheels don't spin, but also the Prelude has a limited slip differential so that could make it extra special.

I'm thinking a Prelude is going to be the next car I get, they've depreciated nicely too. Of course it's going to be hard to find a good one.

The diff in the Type SHs aparently makes the difference.

I'm sure you do that on every journey

I heel-toe rev-match multiple times a day, even when commuting. I never ever downshift without some sort of rev-matching. Driving is more fun that way. All the extra practice means I can have any combination of inputs from the three pedals, despite having only two feet. Shifting without the clutch is personal preference, though most people refrain from it to save their transmission.

Wow. That looked fairly terrible. I can't remember (or find the video) but a domestic mag took the Evo and STI out jumping on a country road and they handled jumping much better. But then again I don't think Mustangs are damped as hard as STIs and Evos.

Someone please find the video. I miss it.
