Forgive me if these has been posted before, but I found these little movies and found them to be pretty good:

Miura Vs Ferrari
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fCrhTdwqVE

The Shaw's Miura - driving in the snow
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMcMr4adaWs

Gold Rush Ferrari 250
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0pRkVVnCZU

Surprised the creator (Kidston) only has 5000 subscribers so far... actually refreshing to watch a car race down a road without somebody constantly blabbing about it as a soundtrack.

PBCrunch posted:

These cars are boring as gently caress, but the GM C and H platform cars of 1985 really were revolutionary for General Motors. The host of the Youtube channel Rare Classic Cars interviewed John Manoogian, the designer of the cars.

Yeah, the Rare Classic Cars Channel has some good stuff. Worked in GM and owns quite a few late 60's to 80's cars like a kid collects toys. Also owns Syd Mead's '72 Imperial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhQC6Qm5ZwI I thought it would be a 2 door instead of a 4 door though.

I also like Steve Magnante's channel. Lots of information on old cars, just walking around a vintage wrecking yard. Also fun when he talked about his model kit collection during the wintertime. https://www.youtube.com/c/SteveMagnante

Another is "This Week In Cars" https://www.youtube.com/c/ThisWeekWithCars It's nothing flashy and it can be flat at times, but I find it still interesting. Also cool to own a warehouse full of english sports cars and even keep them up on shelves.

Want to see a vintage Ferrari 250 get completely trashed along with a Citroen DS? And driven down a flight of steps in Rome? And see a stuntman get hit by said Ferrari and nearly get killed? Well, here's the film for you - "Poliziotto Sprint" from 1977. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knyjh2h-x0c (just fast forward to the car bits)

And what happened to the Ferrari is in an article here: (need to translate to english) https://www.quotidianomotori.com/automobili/poliziotto-sprint-poliziottesco-ferrari/
